I guess I'll survive without tannerite and 50bmgs as everything else is wide open, and the rest of the rules aren't silly. I've shot with a hand full of guys over the years that have had the Noreen ULR in both 50 BMG and .416 Barrett and they have performed very well for a "no frills" 50 bmg platform.

Everyone I ever saw sold ended up getting returned to the manufacture You don't even need a down-angle base for a .50 at 1000 yards Drop is only 20-25 minutes (40 ish at 1500, 65 ish at 2000) Any quality scope capable of handling the recoil without getting the guts knocked loose should have more than that adjustment available

I own one.I bought it for the action and the retractable stock feature.Jim made the stock lefty friendly for me too.I shortened the barrel and rechambered it in 50 spotter.Great deer rifle now.I Just need to install a trigger with a safety.I use a piece of rubber that fits behind the trigger when I'm in the stand,with a round in the chamber.Otherwise. I'm not a fan of the 50 BMG round and sold mine a week after purchasing it due to how obnoxious the round is and the fact that it literally made my brain hurt after firing it
